My arms are tired

As much as I love this scene (and god almighty do I love this scene), I think something has to be said about Ripley's character development throughout the first two movies. She starts off as just a regular person. She's pretty much nothing more glamorous than a space trucker at the start of the first film and throughout it, learns to survive the horror of just what a xenomoph is capable of, before finally nuking the ship and blasting it into space because she's done trying to hide from it. Then in the next film we see her go from the survivor to a xenomorph-slaying badass, not because it's in her nature, or that she's some kind of superhuman, but because she just fucking hates xenomorphs. I love the simplicity in that; no big, lofty goals, no philosophical standpoint, just I am beyond done with this shit. Let's end this.
