Yes she may be her mother, but at the end of the day, she didn’t have any right to reveal that information, especially to a bunch of strangers, considering the fact that she already feel so embarrassed by her daughters profession. I can understand how the daughter being in such a profession can be disheartening, but we also have to be honest as people you cannot expect a 20 year old, who has to fund her own College Expenses housing expenses, and any other expenses on her own not to get a job that gives quick money. And I can understand if the mother is in no financial position to help but with that being said, you can’t, then try to restrict her financially, by saying she can’t do a certain profession because of your personal viewpoints on it. Yes, I understand that she is 20 but at the end of the day she is still an adult. People love to say, look at your future what are people gonna say but at the end of the day it is her life none of us who are commenting negative about what she’s doing are going to pay her bills or going to fund her life. This part is just a little sidenote, but I find it very odd that every time we’re on the topic of sex work, we talk about how it “devalues“ women, and how it negatively affects them, but we don’t talk about it in terms of male performers.
