Mr. Mahina is so good at his job that hr kept him even after he was turned into a mop creature. He was a genuinely good boss, worried his appearance would scare his employees and impact his work, he entrusted just one manager to meet him and frosted his windows. The fellow would always come the earliest so that his employees would be able to continue their work, and left late to be sure that they wouldn't see him. Unfortunately, the man was very self consious that his distance from other people was making them question his existence, or that he was a real person.

I think the funniest part of the whole why don't people turn their opponents lightsabers off question is the in universe answer. Tràkata was a form of lightsaber combat that focused on the ability to turn lightsabers off, by either turning yours off and on again, or presumably turning your opponents off. In both cases this rendered your enemies defenses utterly useless. However this was never used, as both the Jedi and the Sith saw it as cowardly and unsportsmanlike, and had a unspoken agreement to never use it.
