I totally agree with him when he says if you suffer from any of this you need to get therapy. And you need to get it from a trauma-based therapist. Someone who deals with childhood trauma and the like. I wish I could have done the advice that I'm giving, but I'm really hoping I can do it soon. I did hear countless stories of recovery and hope but you need to get therapy. And it's not like it'll go away what was done to you. But you will find ways to cope with it and understand it better and that will give you relief. And another big part of this is acceptance of what happened, Or grieving the mother that you wanted ,that she never was.
